3rd trip in a row headed up into the mountains...I am not yanking anything but have a full load in the bed. Start to crest the hill and I will hear a short burst of a sound like "PSSST", and feel the truck lose power just for a second. This last trip, it happened for 3 spurts in a row. I have not gotten back to the dealership to see if any codes show up this time, but the last 2 there were no codes.
All 3 times, I have not been really pushing it, maybe 2500 rpms.
Maybe bad diesel? I wish I could figure it out, doesn't seem right, it had never done it in the previous 75,000 miles.
CAC tube boots were replaced due to oil leak 10K miles ago, CAC looks good to me, but not an expert at all. I don't have a boost gauge, didn't come on the '03, and I have not added one. I will when I get my 5er...if I keep this crazy truck!
