Getting hard to start....

Ughhh i hate it when this thing has problems....

Ambient air is around 70* or so... down to 55* tops at night. No matter what, when i start it after it sits, it's slower to crank and takes way to long to start. Usually have to hit the go pedal one time. White smoke. At initial key-on, battery gauge shows maybe 10 v. I can run the truck for 10 mins, shut it off, and will start back up like normal. Just looking for some help here, what to check and stuff. Will tackle this afternoon. Please help guys (and gals)

If it's your GPR do yourself a favor and go with the Stancor relay as written up by Guzzle:

Welcome to guzzle's Stancor GPR replacement Mod Web Page

Even if it's something else, I'd do the Stancor before winter gets you and you really get irritated!

How old are your batteries? 10v seems kind of low.

See that's what i'm thinking too alt or batteries. I'm thinkin its gota slow drain somewhere, like maybe the main wires are frayed or draining somewhere.... I think i'll do the GPR cause i've never changed it and it can't hurt, will go over allwires and clean terminals. Where's the best place to get the GPR?

Sorry, I should have been more clear, check the connections at the GPR, then the batteries. Loose connections can cause higher amp draws, and lower voltage readings.

Stokin, get back to class, just kidding, i don't live but 20 miles from your school. My wife works at marshals in town, Go get those batteries load tested just to make sure, and they can check alt to.
