No Dash Lights? O.K., I'm Just a Big Dummy
Realized my instrument lights were not working, checked all fuses, bulbs, wire connections....all looks great. Then I realized that when I installed the new 12v. NEG. ground wire harness I ran the power to the light sockets correct, but I never gave them a ground!
The first clue was when I turned on the lights and touched the wrong part of the socket base to ground....the dimmer coil on the headlight switch looked like a small cigarette lighter for a moment!
I,ll be looking for some new safer panel light sockects soon, but all is now working like it should.
Hope you all had a good weekend.
