NumberDummy, that's interesting. Any idea why it wasn't an option on Super Cabs?
I've got a '79 single cab with dual front shocks, and I'm passively looking for a deal on a Super Cab body to put on this truck.

In 1978,quad shocks were part of the "handling package", a $99.00 option. This is the option list when I ordered mine in March of 78.

Because the 78 & 79 super cab 4x4s came with leaf front suspension instead of coils.

Wow, an optional AM radio cost $86.10 in March 1978 ( with March 2018 inflation = $338.91 )
