Rear lighting comments
I don't want to further hijack XTRFORD's thread so I'll answer some things here.
The lights are Code 3/PSE Halogens that I modified. Originally the 2 sides alternately flash. I wired the red side to the 3rd brake light and the amber to the Stop/Turn side of corresponding tail light. They no longer flash, only work as the van lights do.The van also has a white reflective stripe all the way around it, only visible in the dark.
Funny though, most people don't know quite what to make of the van and they keep their distance. THAT is the result I'm after.
