Hey guys quick question ? Will the wheels off of my 88 ford f-150 5 lug fit a 2002 ford f-150 5 lug i have been pondering on it ??

In a word, no. The '96 and earlier F-150s have a 5 on 5" pattern, where the '97-'03 (and '04 Heritage) have a 5 on 135mm pattern. They're close, but no cigar. IMO, the only right way to swap wheels from the earlier generation to the later one is to re-drill the axle flanges for the correct pattern, and make appropriate mods to the brake drums and rotors. I've never priced it, but any competent machine shop would be able to re-drill the flanges.

Oooooh...and now that I think about it, didn't all of the '97-'03 half-tons come with 16" wheels? If you were to try to fit older 15" wheels on the newer truck, there might be some brake caliper clearance issues.
