Tank Size

I just ordered a Scan Gauge II, and will need to know the gas tank size for my 2001 E350 SD with a 5.4.

I will appreciate any help I can get here. I had guessed it was around 25 gallons, but I suspect it to be larger. I didn't get an owners manual when I purchased this van 2 years ago.

My '01 E-350 SD has the 35 gal money pit. BTW; Did you get suspicious when you put 30 gallons in it.

Not quite 30 gallons, around 28 -29.... When the gauge reads close to 'E', I can force just about 26 into it. I try to maintain at least 1/3 tank as a minimum to keep the pump cool. Also makes it mentally easier to fill it up and not go over $90 ! ! !

Just curious as to what kind of mileage you get with your V-10? I typically get around 10 mpg during cool months, and around 8 during the summer. I have to run the A/C while it sits during hot months to keep my stock in the van cool.
