I've done some searching myself and couldn't find replacement 300's anywhere, your best bet would probably be to find a machine shop that can re build it for you.
you can tell which air system you have by looking where the tube from the pump goes, into the head or into the exhaust manifold.
yes, follow the AIR pump output. Is this advance? (that looks like a snippet from an advance screen)
If so, the engines are RECON, Hecho en Mexico which aint bad, keeps the cost down, but the 'warranty' is negotiable. Lean on the mgr a little to get the 3 yr unlimited.
And I'll also throw in O'reilly's. (I know I know), but I used to know the manager at our local O'reily's and he got me a good deal on a 302 with a 3 year warranty. I've put that motor throw some hell (hauled a 10K pound tractor), gone muddin for over an hour, overheated it once because a gator in the road ripped of my lower rad hose without me knowing it, and the motor still runs like a champ even after I jumped the truck 130 feet and totaled it.

I hate to down Jasper's (Indiana Resident) but I have heard of difficulties with them. In fact, the shop I work at wont buy them anymore because of difficulties with them.
I think Jasper is TOO HIGH PRICED. I'm going to have my 460 rebuilt by a shop. I got a quote of $3000 to build a tow motor out of my 460. For the trans I'm buying it from Summit, A Hughes C-6 towing trans & converter. Have the transfer case rebuilt.
That is why I own two Chevy's. Because when you need a motor you go to your nearest Chevy dealer & order a crate motor with a 3 years/100,000 mile GM warranty good at a GM dealer no mater who installs it.
Looks like air in manifold from the pics. If it was Air in head, it would have a "thermactor air intake manifold" attached to ports in the head like mine does.
Not the best picture but you can see the hose coming off the top of the air pump going into the tube that goes into the ports at the top of the head.
Double check where the hose is coming out of the air pump, but it does look like yours is "air in manifold".
I have an 81 with the same old style air cleaner like yours, but AIR in the manifold.
at the junkyard yesterday I saw one where the AIR was yanked out and sparkplugs were screwed in - at first I thought I was looking at some dual plug conversion....
