I was wondering where else I can find the vin # on my truck. I have a 1979 F150, and am trying to get it liscenced, The cab was switched, so my title doesn't match up with it. The title is supposed to be for the running gear, but I am not sure. I was told that the # is on the frame someplace, but I cant find it. I am filing for a lost title, but that may take forever i was told, and I would like to have the truck on the road as soon as possible.
Any help would be appreciated,
