I have a 1984 F-250 Diesel and had a few questions about the axles.
Here are the numbers and letters stamped on the plate of the rear axle: 354 E4TA BKB 0520 6 LS
Is this a Dana 60 with limited slip?
Here are the numbers and letters for the front, which is TTB:
354 E3TA AMC 610199-5
Is this a Dana 44HD or a Dana 50?
Thanks for your help.
It looks like they are both 3.54:1 ratio axles. The rear being limited slip. 1984 rear and 1983 front. Are there any numbers/letters cast into the diff housings? Like "44 6CF" for a Dana 44 or "C-30255 60" for the Dana 60? These are what mine has.
