I usually stay on the side lines but I have asked some q s from time to time. Well, I see all of these other projects and if someone would tell me how to add pictures i will gladely post a few of my 1974 F350. I call it my "New 74" cause as soon as it is done my current truck goes.
Just above your post is a line that says User CP, FAQ, Member List, etc. etc. Click on User CP & on the left of page it will have a section for editing gallery & stuff like that. I do believe thats where you start. Its been a while since I did mine.
I see you're in PA. You gonna drive the '74 daily in the winter too? I think that's great! The only thing is, I'm in PA, and I'm always really concerned about salt. If you have any plans for rust-proofing, please share. I'm always looking for new ideas/methods to protect my truck from rot.
Well it won't run every day but at least a couple of times per week. Gas is cheap compared to what a truck costs these days and then if you have to take a newer one to a dealer for repair.
I did the whole frame and under of the truck cab with POR 15. Then I rustproofed everywhere in and out.
I figure it lasted this long with out protection so it should go a long while with it.

Yea, POR15 is good stuff. Mine is coated too, but I'm such a sissy when it comes to worrying about rot--I should probably listen to my buddies and just get over it! Funny--I'll haul/tow anything and work the truck hard in the summer, then I want to baby it in the winter. I know, it doesn't make sense.
I personally like Imagebam.com. They are the best site I've found to upload more than one picture at once, and they'll give you the code to post it on the fordum.
Wow I think you got caught by the related threads mishap.... you just dug up a thread from 2008 in the 73/79 section. Doubt anyone here will be wanting that bed for their dentside lol
