antenna cable
Hello all
I just finished heater core / blend door / blend door motor job( glad thats done). When i was going to hook up the antenna the cable slipped out of my grasp and went down the hole. I was wondering if any one knows how to retreive it. I cant even see it in the hole. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've never been there and that kind of puts you in a tight spot. 
The only thing that I could suggest is a magnet or something with retractable expanding fingers. The problem is that you don't know how far it retreated into the dash. I would hate to think that you would have to pull the dash out again. Good luck!

Warning -- I don't know anything about this particular setup.
However, on most older cars, you could install an antenna cable. It may be that you want to try and pull it through from the radio end. Once you have it, you might be able to feed it back through from the antenna side.
Again, I don't know this -- I'd try to find a manual showing the routing. Our local library lets us get to AllData ( a crippled version ), and that sometimes helps.
Otherwise, the pickup with fingers might work. I can't see a magnet doing any good. If there's not much room, you might be able to snag it with a wire hook.
