dp tuner???
hi all, will a dp tuner help a mostly stock 7.3 from being so doggy? i drove my brothers truck with a cummins some time ago, and it feels more responsve to the go pedel then mine. not that mine falls on it's face upaginst his but just not as fast to responed when you take off. or is that the pcm slowing it down some?? so i was thinking about getting a dp tuner if it would help ot a lot. and it woulden't be bad to have more power also!!

I,ve got he DP tuner with Stock,60HP,80hp,and 100hp and its great! I added a 4inch stainless exhaust and AFE stage 2 intake and couldnt feel any diffrence until I added the tuner. Its been flawless for 2 years now and I love being able to return to the stock tune (quieter) anytime or bump it up to the 100hp setting for a little smoke show. If you ever decide you want more options they are great (and cheap ) about reburning your tuner. Call them first and tell them what you plan to use it for and they will keep you out of trouble. I tow with my 2002 F250SD in 60hp mode and you can feel the diffence and see it in the egt,s.

Might want to wail 'till the F6 chip comes out VERY soon I think!

Ughhhh i hate everytime someone mentions the F6.... I WANT IT!!!!!! Anyway, back on topic (i'm starting to notice i have a hard time concentrating), you'll love the DP. Jody and Diane are awesome people.. Wait till u talk to one of them to truly understand the meaning of customer service
