2000 F-150 5.4 start up problem?
140,000mi
It won't start without pumping the gas and when it starts if you let go of the gas it dies out. No check engine light. when its on it doesnt lose power.
any suggestions?

IAC Valve problems I'd say.

my 01 super crew was doing the same thing, check the pcv valve line at the rubber elbows, they may be dry rotted and causing a vacuum leak

i would say Idle air control valve. its kind of a pita to change that sure fixed mine n e way
