i understand the info on the beds... that, the wrong style beds where used up until 63... and on all 4x4s until 65 or 66... now most people understand that with my truck, the bed was hacked up a bit, where the tail gate should go....{think i may have finally figured out why, and that was so that one of the PO wanted to put one of those cab over camper thingys on the back of it...} well me being me, i want to be lazy... and not have to lift that stupid gate thingy out of the pockets and then slide it back down everytime i put something in or out of the back of the truck... so basically what im asking for is either some place to buy a complete bed, or just the very end of the bed, where the tail lights and tailgate attaches to and tail gate.... or for some measurements on that whole rear of the bed, including some possible pictures... so i can make my own rear... ND and CS should both know what im talking about by the bed being cut up... but maybe not...
I do...my best friend had a 64 4X4 that had the same thing done, though only on the RH side...I know where there is a bed, but as typical, the rear area is rough, but uncut...if you want I can go look at it for you...
wheres it at? and how much are they wanting for it.... i dont have gas money until next week possibly... but if you wanna look at it for me... that would be help-full... atm im not worried about the rust to much.... since ive got an almost rust free bed thats jut ben cut up a little and can use patches from one or the other... but im not sure as to when i will be able to pick it up....
The 1966 F100 4WD Styleside pickup did not use the 1957/60 bed. The Styleside bed used on this model only is the same as used on 1964/66 F100/250 2WD Stylesides.
All other 1961/65 4WD F100/250's & 1966 F250 4WD Stylesides used the 57/60 bed, as did all 1961/66 F350 Stylesides, and some 1961/63 F100/250 2WD Stylesides.

61-65 f-100 and f-250 used the wrong bed, along with 66 f-250?
correct....to post the opposite...the 64-6 styleside bed was used on all 64 and 65 F100 and F250 2WD trucks as well as 66 F100 and F250 2WD trucks AND the 66 F100 4WD....
- cs65...I wish I knew why, in 66, they went to the styleside bed on the 1/2 ton 4WD's...
Wheel base. When they switched the front axle to coil spring type trailing arm, the wheel base was matched to the 2 wheel drive trucks only on the F100.
The 66 F250 4x4 still retained the since 61 factory wheel base for long beds.
don... youve confused me... im gonna stick with some 61-63s 2wds used the 59 bed... and 4wd f-100 61-65 used the 59 bed... and 61-66 f-250s used the 59 bed
