IM running
Got my 302 fired up with a newer carb from a friend.
A few fouled plugs and open exhaust manifolds. She sets and idles, now IM not sure about the old 6 cylinder radiator it has. I have a 4lb cap on it but I see the tank bulge out.
I had it pressure checked and cleaned out. The P.O. had the same radiator running a 283 chevy and didnt have any probs.
I dont have power to the gauges yet so I cant see what its doing.

Sounds great to get a good motor running. Is the radiator a three row? What kind of trans. do you have? You may wish you had a four row with higher pressure cap due to the higher pressure from the V8. That top tank may blow!

Its a C4.
I have another radiator but I will have to fab up the mounts. Its a stock 51 6 cylinder radiator now.
I will see what this one does for now. IM not driving it yet. Lots of little things to fix. Lights, brake lights, rear shocks, exhaust. Not to mention tags and insurance.
I need to power up my gauges and see whats going on.

Congrats and a big round of frosties!!!!
Its always fun to light one off and hear the roar comming through the open exhaust.
The first time I lit my big Caddy off I knocked pictures off of the wall in my den (it shares a wall with the garage....lol)
