locking differintial

Do any of y'all have locking rear ends on your trucks?

My truck is a: 2001 King ranch 4x4 5.4 4-door with a 6" fabtech and 315's it doesn't have the 8.8" diff but the one that looks bigger to me. it is asymmetrical not like the 8.8 Due to the price of gas my daily driver is a Camry, and I just use my truck to go hunting, fishing or moving things around. so the rougher corners are not a big deal. There are a lot of sharp rocks at my deer lease and I was thinking if I could lock up the back tires I could get to a few places I cant get to now or at least stop tearing my tires apart.

If its not an 8.8 what do you call it? I see lots of lockers out there for the 8.8 but dont know what to look for for my truck. What are you guys usinh?

You have a 9.75" differential. I don't know if locking differentials are as plentiful for these in the aftermarket as they are for the 8.8" models. Good luck!

Yep its a 9.75... they do make locking diffs for it. I think you might even be able to get a Detroit Locker for it.
