I have this gift
For making up rhymes
Some of them funny
And goofy at times

But this one is different
It comes from my heart
So let me explain
I know where to start

I tease you alot
With my ribbing and poking
But you all are the best
And I am not joking

When Speedy died
Putting it mild
I felt so heartbroken
Like losing a child

But when I came here
To share my sorrow and grief
You guys all stepped up
And brought some relief

You lightened my burden
As I put Speedy to rest
So,simply put
You guys are the best!

Now when I say Guys
I mean the Gals too
Your posts and your e-mails
Helped me get through

So this little poem
Is for each one of you
From the bottom of my heart
I am saying,,,Thank you!
