Question about floor console

Has any one changed out the center seat for the console,and if so are the brakets differant then the ones on seat? I have been looking at them on Ebay some come wit brkt and some don't.The price differanse is a lot.
Also any one ever use the PAC IPOD interface?

I am interested in doing the opposite....taking out the hard console and replacing it with the seat....I hope someone chimes in soon.....

Brackets ARE NOT the same between the seat and the console.

Me too. That console is useless. ...and what is that thing on the ceiling with the big hole in it supposed to be for? A newspaper?

Umm what year? I know a few people have changed out the center seat in a pre 08 for an 08 console. The 08 console brackets attach to the seat bolts.

But they don't use the same brackets.

no the brackets are different .. I have a couple of 08 consoles and send mine with the brackets. The cheaper ones on ebay do NOT have the bracket with them.
