78 4x4 headers/starter question

Well I am having a 400 built right now for my 78 F150 4x4. I have a set of Headman Headers for it and I was wondering if it is possible to change the starter with the headers on. If the headers have to come off to change the starter, then what about a mini starter? I did a search and read a few stories about guys having to unbolt their headers, and taking like 6 hrs to change a starter. I want to avoid that before the engine ever gets installed. I would gladly spend the extra $$ for a mini starter if it would save me alot of headaches in the future.

Mine are the Headman Long tube headers. I am thinking i will spend the extra money for a mini starter just to make sure. I may look into a heat wrap for the starter also. I definitely dont want to go through alot of trouble to change a starter. Starters always seem to go out at the most inconvenient times
