I really dont know how much that would come into play in a crash, but what the hell do I know?! A crash is a crash, it cant make that much of a difference.
not very fuel efficent though, my wrangler tj weighs 3500 pounds and gets 12 mpg in town & 15 on the freeway with the 4.0 h.o., at least it's fast for a stock 6 cyl.
Yeah both of our grand cherokee's got around the 20 mpg mark, but that was highway driving. The one with the auto 4x4 or whatever its called got abit less.
I thought they would get more. I dont think ours were a HO motor either, and we had automatics.
Nope they arent. Ive seen a couple of those jeeps with a 302 conversion in them though, that would be kinda cool. Jeeps are one of the best for rock crawling and stuff like that.
The woman and i took a jeep grand cherokee diesel for a rip today, I actually like the mercedes benz 3 liter diesel in there. 47grand after rebates and taxes.
I wish ford would come out with a little diesel like that!
next year man... the 4.4 is supposed to make a showing. those benz diesels do run nice though, i been in a sprinter van with the same engine. its almost impressive.
Thanks for your suggestions guys, I might take a look at it this weekend. Not the best fuel economy, but they are capable vehicles, so I guess we will wait and see.
