I peaked at 285hp at around 5000 rpm on the highway, and around 360tq when I was 4X4 in the mud ....but I highly doubt these are accurate because it reallies more on math rather than load. Only a dyno will give you accure hp/tq readings and I would say both are vehicles will be lower than what the scangaugeII says.

Mine is spot on, on the gas mileage. Interesting that the II's give you hp/tq numbers. Do you have to do an elapsed time or something to get them?

The new scangaugeII comes with Xgauge software which allows to add gauges the unit doesn't come with such as hp and trq. The page gives a brief explanation on how it calculates the math.

Here is a page which gives you the optional gauges that are available for the Xgauge software. *Note* not all gauges will work with our gen of trucks like torque converter line pressure and feul pressure because the PCM doesn't monitor these parameters.

Yup...it is chipped and all that mumbo jumbo. My torque/horsepower suffered when I went from just under 33's to 34"+ tires...and so did the mpg's. I hope to install 4:56's soon to rectify that problem.
