Depends on the what the axles and tires are rated at. I'd suspect it is at least a 6klb GVW trailer. The trailer itself probably weighs around 1400lbs or so.

I would agree, enough to fit a small/mid size car on it. You can always get the trailer weighed to check that. might also want to check the load rating on the tongue if it is stamped and check the rating on the tires too.

Based upon what I can tell, I think so, I would be watching it as you put it on there. Just a short drive should be ok, wouldn't go accross the country with it.

I would suspect just looking at it it has 15" tires and each axel would be 3500 lbs each or 7000 lbs gross weight.

Like Dkf said, check the capacity of the tires and if it is an old trailer and the tires are cracking you might consider replacing them before going to far. Generally 5 years is the safe limit on trailer tires.

I think it's just barely capable of that weight tractor but as a previous poster stated, short distances, ie under 20 miles one way if you ask me. I don't think it would hole up well to punching it 65mph down the highway with that load.

Does your tractor weigh 5300 without any attachments and without liquid in the tires to give it extra weight for traction?
