Hi my 1990 Ford bronco currenlty has a 4" lift. Rancho lift kit with radius arms and everything. My question is can I make my truck bigger by adding leaf springs and coil spacers. Is that the same thing as a body lift??
A body lift uses bushings on every body mount, and actually lifts the body off the frame. The 4" kit you have, is called a suspension lift, and so are the spacers you mentioned and the leaf springs you mentioned. The best way to do this, is to get 6" springs, I think the rancho kit has axle pivot brackets with another hole for the 6" right? Drop it down, and get some lift leaf springs from skyjacer and you're good to go. If you want to go the cheap crappy way, get the spacers, drop the axle pivot bolts down to the 6" hole, and put add-a-leafs in the rear, it'll stiffen your ride though, thats why a whole new lift leaf spring is the better option, it won't ruin the ride.

I assume that you mean bigger as in higher? I believe that on a 6" lift, you need to lengthen the driveshafts on a bronco because of the short wheelbase, and you might possibly have a problem with the front crossmember on the transfer case because of the driveshaft angles. So either wait for someone here to get a definite answer, or head over to the bronco forum and ask there. You will need longer shocks, and brake lines you need as well I believe.
