Graphite worked fine for me, didn't need bearings.

Chrome doesn't handle heat all that well.

My local Oreillys employs are complete idiots and I have no idea how they got a job there. I went to get door locks a while ago and they couldn't find them for my truck so he gave me and pair of chevy locks and said "try these if they don't work we can take them back" ...... I said I dont think so.. Finally an older man that worked there helped me and got my locks in about 30 seconds. Went back to Oreillys to get rear view mirror glue to put mine back up and he broght me to the outside door mirrors..

Try and find a starter for a 2000 Ford Falcon pick-up ... Or squelch grease for your radio ...

But it's worse when you need a actual part and they can't find it. I went to Advance told them I needed a IAC for my 85 EFI they said no part existed, went to Auto Zone they said it was a dealer part,And Last went to O'Riellys and they had it.

I work at AZ, but I can't say what they did short of not paying attention... I swear sometimes though our data entry people are on crack, but more realistically, they likely have no clue about automotive things as well. I did find the IAC online easy enough for a 302 in that year. Sometimes the half year series change stuff messes with us... you would be amazed at the problems we get because of that. Doesn't help when you get things like a Caravan having the same model year, but different body styling. (91 specifically...) Our particular store is different than most, everyone there has a decent amount of experience, some of us more than others... I get so ticked at the computers sometimes though, because it tells me that things weren't available .. ( data entry..... go figure!)

Anyway, a moment of trivia, did you know there is such a thing as a muffler bearing? (not the one pictured though... ) Mack trucks called the turbo a muffler way back when ...
