coolant leak

I have coolant leaking around the crankshaft pulling. I can not tell if it's leaking from the bottom of the water pump or the main seal. I not a expert machanic but think I can change either the water pump or maybe even the main seal. Can some one send me or point me to where I can find step by step instructions on changing the main seal.

Dude

I'd bet the farm on the water pump being bad, I had one go out in my truck and a week later my excursion. I'd change the thermostat housing while you are at it.

Crawl under and look real good at that water pump it's probably the culprit . When you change it make sure you rent or borrow the fan clutch removal tools makes the job a lot easier.

No I don't, but get the one in the red box with a bunch of different sizes in there if they just give you the two wrench set they won't work there too small.
