Got a question.......or maybe a lot of questions...........What I would like to do is drastically increase my cool air.........understand just how the AC system works........my system on my truck works ok..........but just how would one pump up the AC on a 7.3 powerstroke..........would you need a larger blower motor, bigger compressor.....etc, etc...........anyone ever done this before................or maybe has anyone ever put a rv roof unit on their camper.........one that works as you are driving down the road........you know..........a inverter off one of the batteries in the truck.........I've been told it can't be done........but I don't see why it can't...............anyway........how about some answers.......or maybe a tutorial on the system.........why each item does what it does..........
Sounds like you are wanting to re-design a system that is custom fitted to your truck by Ford. This will be tough with the parameters of the given body style you have (or any other you want to use). You can install a system that will allow you to make ice in your cab but you might not like the tradeoffs in performance, looks, and function.
How much are you wanting to increase your cooling ability?
Are you sure your current system is working at it's peak right now?
When working 100%, that system should make you uncomfortable after a while if it's not 100degrees and 100% humidity.
