need help with exhaust
ok, so in my quest for the ultimate off-road only machine it brings me to my exhaust...i already have headers(hooker longtube elites) and i have my mufflers already setting in my closet(cherry bomb glasspacks). but i cant seem to get my front catalytic converter off as i dont have a heavy enough welder and its right by my tranny so i cant use a hand grinder as i would risk cutting into my tranny and i cant fit a hacksaw up in there to cut the pipe. i need ideas! also i ont want to replace the cat as i have my custom cat that forms the y-pipe from the headers i just want to chop off the front one so i can put my glasspacks on

I am bolting up headers now on my truck the only bolts I loosened were for the manifolds,everything else got the sawsall treatment. my truck has a body lift(for now),so maybe that gave me a couple more inches to get in there with the sawsall.
