Yes! Another Tire/Wheel Question
New to this forum so bear with me.
I have a new (less than 2K miles) '08 250 4x4 Lariat Standard Bed. It came with 275/70/18 Tires and 18 x 8 wheels. I do not know the offset (ET)or the back-spacing on this combo. I (like most everyone else) want to put bigger tires on the truck. I would like A/T's but it is not a deal breaker if I do not have them. Ride and fuel economy are important to me as I tow a bass boat from WA to AZ and all points in between frequently.
A freind has offered to give me some new Weld Racing Wheels (Slingblades). They are 18 x 8.5 with 5.14 back-spacing and 10mm offset (ET). I would like to put 325/65/18 tires on this but have been told that I will at minimum need a leveling kit on the front end. True? What else will I need?
At the end of the day, What is the biggest tire I can put on this wheel without having to do any modifications to the truck and what brand tire would you recommend?
Thanks
By the way - LOVE the truck.
By the way, you can get stock 20" wheels on Ebay. They look good, and might give you some other options for tires. Unfortunately, most of the sellers are pretty proud of those wheels.
