Limited slip?
hey guys I have a 85 ford 9" with 3:50 gears. I am trying to figure out if it is limited slip. When I turn the differential (where the drive shaft hooks up to the pumpkin) The drums spin in opposit directions. I lost the tag but I do remember the gear ratio and I found out on here that it is a 31 spline but need to know if it is a limited slip. If I spin the differential and stop one of the drums from spinning and the other drum still spins then does that mean its open?
