I know and all the days the ford stalls on me it would be today in the pouring rain about 9:00 this morning Swamp Thing is sick and I don't know whats wrong with him. Why couldnt this happen to me on my day off yesterday?

Problems Solved!
I am happy to report back that Swamp thing is back on the road in full health with working running lights and everything!
Turns out someone that had the truck before me had cut some wires back and they were not making solid connections so me and my buddy went through the whole system and traced it down. As far as stalling out goes. It appears that whoever did a tune up last didn't replace the spark plug wires...just the spark plugs. I checked the d cap and points and all that good stuff...get this all of it looked brand new. It's like they ran out of money and didn't have enough to get new wires so they kept using the old ones. The truck runs a lot better now. Thanks for all your help guys.

I am not sure..I am better with faces than names...I'll have to go in the home depot one day. Oh yeah..on a side note...I am getting ready to paint the swamp thing...wish me luck.

Cool and yeah I have been reading alot in that thread for a while...I hope to start the painting this weekend if the freakin rain comes and goes quick enough....However I am also rebuilding my carb this weekend to. God theres not enough daylight in a day now that times changed again. Talk to ya later.
