When it rains it pours, Rear problems...
I posted a thread in the Expy-Navigator forum, feel free to jump in if any of you have done work on Expedition,s in your family, having problems again. Hope i,m not breaking any rules posting this, just trying to redirect anybody. Thanks

No answer to your spider gear ? Mike, sorry.
My wife has a 99 expy with the 4.6 and the only things I have had to do to it so far is 2 coil packs, some plugs, A/C clutch rebuild, and the Odometer black out fix.

Maybe the wife is out doing dounuts with it and you don't know it!!
Maybe you can get a complete hole rear at a junk yard to put in it, may have other problems in there that is causing this to happen?
