Code P0401

My "Service Engine Soon" light came on and I had AutoZone read the code, it came up as EGR Valve which I changed, light out for 150 miles then came back on. Went back to AutoZone and now the code is P0401-EGR Insufficient Flow Detected, Should I look at the DPFE or EGR Vacuum Regulator or EGR Ports? Lost with this emissions t/s.
My truck is a 2000 F-150 4x2 Auto 4.6L
Any help would be great.

Clean the EGR ports under the throttle body, that will likely fix it. If it doesn't, try the the DPFE next.

Did mine this weekend and haven't replaced the DPFE sensor yet. I'm putting some miles on it to see if the light comes back on before replacing the sensor. Yeah, I know I probably will have to replace it! There's a few photos in my gallery under TECH if you want to see stopped up ports. It's pretty simple to correct. It actually took longer to clean it up than it did to R&R it!

Thanks Joe Finn for the info, cleaned them out today, completely closed up. Code cleared out and now I'll do some driving and keep an eye on it. Like Steve said, "longer to clean than R&R." Thanks again for your help.
