Question Van owners Feedback on Mud flaps

I'm looking to get some "end used feedback" ideas on what buyers would want in the way of mud flaps / splash guards:

Here's a copy of the stock OEM shaped ones made from 1/8" thick ABS plastic:

or better yet:

These are 8 1/2" wide and 16" long....

Would end users want them wider (for wider rims), longer on the top to blend up higher or longer on the bottom / drop?

Just looking for end user input and NOT TRYING to sell them on this forum!

Wider is good, helps keep the mud off stuff. Don't want to drop too far down, otherwise they get floppy. I don't have experience with those specific flaps, so beyond that, I can't really say. The factory flaps on my van seem ok as is.

Thank you Bear River!

These will be made from ABS plastic instead of rubber so they are stiffer but still flexible.

I hear the wider but to do so then taller to blend into the wheel well at the top?

Since these will screw to the inner wheel well lip, they will angle outward to divert the splash outward.....and divert air flow too instead of trapping it.
