3.5 inch muffler
where can i get the best and/or cheapest muffler? im planning on fitting my stock 3.5 inch straight exhaust that was on my 05 duramax to fit my 87 6.9 but dont want to straight pipe it. is 3.5 inch too big from the Y pipe back for this motor? if i dont do this i was going to put true duels with 12 inch glasspacks (had this on a 89 7.3 and liked it).

On my '92 7.3, the pipe slowly tapers up to a 4".
I tried running 4" straight pipes, but it sounded like an annoying dragster. I couldn't even drive with the windows down.
So I added a Megaflow Muffler. It has 4" inside dia and 7" outside dia. It sounds very healthy, but still nice and mellow.
