Error Codes said "EGR low flow"
My 01 Escape, 6 cyl, 210,000 miles, had a check engine light. I brought it to Precision Tune, they wanted $800 to replace the plugs, the #4 coil pack, and the fuel filter. Thanks to this forum, I was able to do the work myself for around $130.
Now the light is on again, and the code reader at Autozone says 'EGR low flow' (something close to that).
I tried to buy an EGR valve at 4 parts shops, no one had it in stock or in a local warehouse. That tells me that EGR valves on Escapes don't go bad.
One of the shops recommended replacing the DPFE sensor. I did, and the same code came back a few days later.
What's next?
