Thumbs up Finally did IDM mod

Well I finally did my IDM mod recently. A special thanks to Neal (nlemerise) for doing the initial purchase of the resistors and distributing them and to Matt (matty169) for sending me a spare IDM that he had at no expense to me except some of the resistors.

Here are some of my very unscientific results. I did not want to rely solely on the butt-o-meter so a friend and I did some stop watch runs. The first numbers are before mod, 0-60 mph.
14.04, 14.71 2wd no boost
14.58 2wd 5 lbs boost
14.10 4wd 5 lbs boost

After the mod:
13.68, 13.90 2wd no boost
13.32 2wd 5 lbs boost
13.32 4wd 5 lbs boost
12.6 4wd 12lbs boost

Seems more responsive according to SOP feel also. Easy mod. Glad I did it. Have not run enough fuel to know if that has changes at all.

If anyone wants to do this and needs an IDM pm me and I will send it out as well as the resistor needed. All I ask is that you pass on your old one to the next person that needs one.

Well Kris, as you can see by the ups and downs on some of the similar runs it was not overly controlled but there was a fair drop in times overall anyway.

Big Poppa, very easy if not a little putsy just because I am cautious. I cannot afford to screw these things up. lol
