Mine mounts in place of the carrier bearing. Most mount, to the tail housing of the X-fer case, or tranny.

Absolutely. Check them out www.gearvendors dot com And not to mention, my fuel mileage went from about 13.5 to 16.5 or better if I don't run up on any Dodges!!! But be warned, they are pricey. Mine was 3k and I installed it and had driveshafts built. It ain't cheap, but it's very functional. Check out the site.

yea i had an outdoor loudspeaker under the hood of my F150 a few years back. just hasnt made it in the powerstroke yet. it was hooked up to my CB as well.

You are one interesting dude, there Cody! Gotta admit, the knife and switch caught my eye too. I figured gear venders and some power add-on, so I was pretty close.

can you use the gearvendors like a 2 speed rear end for shifting with a load? so what i guess i'm asking is do you now have a 10 speed or a six speed?

Gearvendors give you under/over drives. So you basically have a gear between 2-3 and 4-5.

If I remember correctly that are not intended to be downshifted on. I think Cody has had some problems with this and he could explain it more in depth. Something about this system creates its only pressure to shift...

i had issues with using my gv as a 2 speed rear end, the people at gv said its better to run in "low" then shift to high at the top gear the electric units dont really like being shifted like that
