I have an 89' F-150 with a C6 auto tranny. I can still drive it but I have to rev the truck to at least 3 grand before it will take off and then after it takes off it slips until it shifts into second. My uncle thinks it some kind of pump. Does this sound right? How hard is it to fix? Will I have to rebiuld the whole tranny? Will I have to pull the tranny out? I have been driving it like this for a while and it's starting to suck. Any help would be much appreciated.
