I have a 89 EB 351. My bearings went out on the front driverside wheel. The inside bearing racer has seized it self to the spindel. I am on Broncograveyard trying to locate a spindel and I need to know what front differential I have. Can anybody tell me?
I have had the same problem a time or two. I found a good one at a junk yard where you pull the parts off yourself and only paid about $10 for it. another time I cut a grove in the bearing and was able to break it off. I cut it almost all the way through and hit it with a hammer a few times and it came right off. Don't know if that was a good idea but I had to get to work in the morning and the bronco was all I had.

So how long has it been working for you? I have added the new spindle to my truck and now started having problems with the other side. Found out it is the spindle bearings. So i am thinking of spliting the frozen bearing on the old spindle like you did and see if I can use the old one I still have.
It has been fine for about 4 years now. I don't drive it much anymore. I have found that the best thing to do is avoid deep muddy water, but I know it's hard.
I had the same thing happen many years ago to my '71 Mustang; i used a propane/butane torch to heat the race and get it off the spindle. polished the spindle with emery clothe, put a new bearing on it and ran it for years.
