Engine upgrade and conversion...
I was wondering the how-to and cost of a project I want to do.
I have now a 99' Ford Ranger XL 2wd 4 cylinder. While nice, I would like a little upgrade for performance.
What I would like to do is get something like a 2.4 turbo 4 cylinder and convert it to a manual transmission... I'm looking to keep good gas milage while just driving conventially but also be able to have some fun at the local strip...
Any ideas on the difficulty and cost, as well as were to find the how-to instructions and good priced parts...
