I've explained it before.

you just use an old winshield washer tank with the pump in it, and just fill it with old oil and pipe it into the exhaust so it will burn up.

Whenever you want smoke screen, you just flip the switch.

I did the washer tank on my old AMC when I graduated High school. Filled it with bleach water and boy what a slick stinky tire that makes.
