Whats up guys? - CA
I'm new to these forums and found you guys while doing a search on F-150 information. I just bought a white 1995 F150 XT 4X4 w/ 5.8L single cab long bed w/ 144K for $1800.00. Body is in great condition but tailgate was shot. I dropped $50 for a brown one at a wrecking yard and I'm good to go. The interior has no carpet (good for me) but is also in pretty good shape. I put in new sylvania headlamps, a new battery, a new ignition key lock module yesterday and today I am getting alot of vacuum hoses, lower radiator hose, oil sending switch (needle drops to nada when at idle and rises when given gas), F & R brakes, oil change, radiator flush, and differential lube and should be a pretty reliable work work truck for me. Next week new tires and leveling kit. It already has 31X10.50's on it but they aint's so pretty.
It's my first Ford (brother talked me into it) so it better be good. You have a great forum here and I'm sure you'll be seeing me around. If you have a truck like mine post a pic of yours here so I can get some more ideas. And if you have any pointers or tips pertaing to this truck, motor, or whatever speak them out.

Here's the link to the Western region - you can go to the NorCal or SoCal chapter, since you are pretty much in the middle of the two, or why not stop by and say hello in each?
