Hi, Need help on question.

Im looking at the 2009 king ranch f150. I was first wondering when they come out. Also, how good is the gas mileage on them now? I heard its better. but i know all trucks do not get good mileage what so ever

You can pretty much be sure the mpg will not be good enough. After all the US auto companies had no way of know the price of gas would ever go up...

So what's your definition of "good enough"? It's a TRUCK. The weight, aerodynamics, and intended use precludes fuel mileage as being a primary concern.

When these trucks come out, though, the fuel mileage will be a pleasant surprise for a lot of folks. Trust me on this. The six speed is one slick unit.

I'd say you can count on about or slightly above the status quo for MPG. 14-15 city and up to 20 hwy.

I think city is where the 6 speed will help the most.

Last I've heard around the net for release is later this year. But with trucks just not moving at all, the 09 may just actually be released in 09.
