I have 2000 eddie bauer expedition. For a week or so there has been a bad oder from the ac ducts, my wife came home tonight and said it is not blowing cold air anymore. I figure the evaporater in the dash is leaking. does anybody have a different idea or know how expensive this will be to get fixed? Thanks alot, Mike

Mold can grow on the evaporator core causing an odor (due to moisture). If allowed to grow enough, it will cover the core causing a reduction in both cooling and air flow. I don't know if this is your problem, but it is something to look for besides a leak.
