Ignition recall
In todays newspaper, I read: In a ruling that could deal a blow to the Ford Motor Co., a California judge late Tuesday largely agreed with complaints that Ford knowlingly installed defective ignition mechanisms in nearly 2 million vehicles produced from 1983 to 1995. In his tentative decision, Alameda County Superior Court Judge Michael E. Ballachey said he intended to issue orders "Compeling recall and repair" of the vehicles.. A Ford spokeswoman said, "The realworld data and engineering analysis is in direct conflict with the court's ruling. There is simply nothing to fix. We expect this ruling will be reversed on appeal."
I wonder is this is the reason I cannot get my Ford F150 fixed. First the Ford dealer said it was the fuel pumps, then installed a new ignition part, but still the same old problems.
Any comments?
