coolant never made it to the ground. After I searched, it was all on the lower radiator hose and would be gone before it accumulated enough to hit the ground. Oh well I think after seeing what my brakes were like I am gonna just do the water pump and flush and 203* stat
Unless I'm wrong, it looks like it is leaking from around that seal where the thermostat housing mates up to the water pump. That is just a form-a-gasket/silicone seal. Those three bolts take off the thermostat housing, just clean it up real good and use some good RTV silicone and you should be good. Unless you specifically buy a water pump that has a thermostat housing with it you have to re-use your old one anyway.
Get the billet Diesel Site housing and 203 Stat. The stock housing is pot metal and deforms and pits easily. Becareful with the 3 tiny bolts holding the housing on. They break easily because of the corrosion.
