Do some searching on the engine swap forum. I bet you'll find all the information you need.

The 1965/74 F100/350's w/240 engines use the same engine stands as the 1967/76 F100/350's with 352/360/390's.

You may want to haul azz, but take into consideration the price of gasoline today (and...it'll prolly be 5 bucks a gallon next summer).

And what to expect for gas mileage from one of these brick shaped trucks.

Don't expect any better than 8-12 city MPG or 13-18 highway MPG with any V8 engine.

Ford never installed 429's in these trucks, but did install the 429's larger brother (the 460) in 1973/79 F100/350's.

While not a perfect match, the engine mounts for '73/79 F100/350's with a 460 can be made to work on 1967/72 F100/350's.
