Has anyone heard of a problem associated with the auto windows all ceasing to work at one time? Recently all of the windows in my super cab quit working. I have checked the 401 breaker, replaced the main switch in the drivers door and still nothing. The odd thing is that when I press on one of the window switches the mirrors defrost light will come on as long as the window button is held down. My meter is getting 12v to the breaker, 12v to the main switch and 12v to the window motors. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

I have had a very similar problem, but not quite the same as your problem. My driver side, and rear windows quit moving in either direction last winter of course while the driver's side was down. I know a local Ford dealer's parts manager real well and he said that this is a problem he sees about twice a month and that I needed to replace the switches. I had tried the fuses before I contacted him, but he was indeed correct.
