Steering column help
Hey Guys, I just got a 93 F-150 a couple weeks ago, this is my first truck. The steering column is, err...how do I say it, broken? The steering wheel is floppy. The shaft inside the casing moves around, not sure how it's broken. I've gotten another column from a parts truck. Here's my question, my truck has to shift out of OD and this column that I got has the OD button on the shifter. Can I swap these? Also, how do I get the ignition turner thing off to remove that upper plastic shroud? Will I be able to change the ignition key switch so as to keep my key? Thanks guys, any help is greatly appreciated.

This will be a fairly simple swap. Yes you can swap the OD shifters. If both are not OD shut off you will need to swap the wiring from your old column to the new column including the main wiring connector.
For the ignition switch there is a little hole on the bottom of the switch. Turn your key to the on position, insert a small pin or something into the hole and pull your switch out. Then you can put it into your new column.
